Guidelines and Best Practices (Do’s and Don’ts )

Do’s
  • Always follow the safety instructions provided in the Operator Manual of your machine.
  • Read and adhere to all safety and instructional labels placed on the equipment.
  • Inspect all safety devices before operating the combine or any attachment.
  • Familiarise yourself with all operational controls before starting work.
  • Follow all road safety and transport regulations when moving the machine on public roads.
  • Ensure all adjustments and minor settings are done with the engine switched off and hand brakes engaged.
  • Regularly inspect and tighten nuts, bolts, and fasteners; re-tighten whenever required.
  • Use only Vishal-recommended oils, lubricants, and greases for optimal performance.
  • Use only genuine Vishal spare parts for maintenance and replacement.
Don’ts
  • Do not touch or approach moving or rotating parts under any circumstance.
  • Do not wear loose clothing when working around rotating or exposed components.
  • Do not stand or allow anyone to stand near moving parts during operation.
  • Do not operate the machine while standing; always remain seated when it is in motion.
  • Do not perform maintenance or inspection without first disengaging the PTO, switching off the engine, and engaging the hand brake.
  • Do not attempt to work on overheated components; allow sufficient cooling time.
  • Do not modify, alter, or tamper with the machine, as this affects performance, safety, and warranty.
